I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Southern California, with a focus on mental health. Over the past 25+ years, I have worked across multiple areas of the behavioral health system, primarily in leadership and administrative roles.
My career began in child welfare, where I worked closely with families navigating crisis, trauma, and system involvement. I later moved into inpatient mental health services and inpatient drug and alcohol treatment, where I helped oversee care delivery, treatment programming, and clinical operations.
Much of my professional work has involved directing services, managing treatment — giving me a long-range view of how mental health models, language, and interventions impact individuals and families over time. I’ve worked both inside and alongside systems that are meant to help, and I understand where they are effective — and where they fall short.
This experience informs how I approach this work today: with clarity, restraint, and deep respect for the complexity of family dynamics. My focus is not on diagnosing or labeling, but on helping people understand relational patterns, power shifts, and emotional processes so they can respond with integrity rather than confusion.
